About SIT Mangalore

Srinivas Institute of Technology (SIT) is a premier engineering college in the Mangaluru region, committed to delivering high-quality education with a holistic approach. Established in 2006, SIT operates under the aegis of A. Shama Rao Foundation, Mangaluru. The institute is approved by AICTE, affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), and accredited by NAAC. SIT is situated on a sprawling 15-acre campus at Valachil, Arkula Village, approximately 10 km from Mangaluru city, along NH66 towards BC Road. The institute is home to over 3,000 students, offering 13 undergraduate programs, 5 postgraduate programs, and 6 research centers.

About

About Organising Department

The Departments of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) offer B.E. programs, with the ECE department also offering an M.Tech in Digital Electronics. Additionally, the ECE department is recognized as an R&D center affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. Both departments boast state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, supported by a team of highly qualified and dedicated faculty members. The ECE department houses a start-up, Samyak Tech, which undertakes consultancy projects and services. Several student projects from these departments have received funding from KSCST. To bridge the gap between academia and industry, the departments regularly organize hands-on workshops, industrial visits, and skill development initiatives.
